What’s your favorite food TV show? Chef’s Table, especially the episode about the Zen Buddist Chef nun in South Korea.
What’s something people don’t talk enough about when it comes to food? People.
What’s your happiest food memory? Having a big family picnic and eating stuffed rice cakes at my grandparents’ grave site at the Korean Harvest Moon Festival.
What would you be if you weren’t a chef? A stage actress, a comedian (that’s Ji Hye’s childhood dream!), a food historian, or a food writer.
If you could travel to any place and time for a food adventure, where would you go? 1600’s Macau.
