How Brooklyn Nets Inspired These New Ice Cream Flavors

There’s nothing better to celebrate birthdays than ice cream, even when it’s for a basketball team.

In November, Brooklyn’s largest ice-cream factory, Ample Hill Creamery launched two flavors to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Brooklyn Nets.

Inspired by the team’s uniforms, here’s what you should know about these “Birthday Swish” flavors.

Away Game

A nod to the Nets’ white uniforms worn during road games, this is a white birthday cake ice cream with chocolate frosting swirls, housemade chocolate cake batter bites, and anniversary sprinkle. It’s available at Ample Hills scoop shops in New York and New Jersey.

Home Court Advantage

Like the black Icon, home games uniforms worn by players at Barclays Center, “Home Court Advantage” is a dark chocolate cake ice cream with white frosting swirls and black, white, and silver sprinkles. It’s available exclusively at the brand’s Barclays Center shop.

Four, one-pint packs of “Away Game” can be purchased online for US$12. Find out where to get yourself a scoop, or ten, at Ample Hills Creamery.
