Serious Georgia O’Keeffe fans, listen up: there are two cool spots in New York where you can party, drink, and have fun in the name of the “mother of American modernism” this summer.
First up, check out “To See Takes Time” – the artist’s exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York till August 12.
Then, take things up a notch at Freehand New York, which features the Georgia O’Keeffe themed Georgia Room and Bar Calico.

Georgia Room
Paying homage to O’Keeffe’s strong and independent style, this socially inclusive lounge offers an ever-changing cultural program and partnerships with the city’s best DJs.
Bar Calico
If you’re a big O’Keeffe fan, this spot will be right up your alley. Mimicking the atmosphere of the artist’s desert home in Abiquiu, New Mexico, this cocktail bar draws inspiration from two O’Keeffe paintings – Cow’s Skull with Calico Roses and The White Calico Flower.
Both venues are located at Freeland New York, 23 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10010, + 1 212 475 1920
