Ziplining Meets Fine Dining by an Italian Michelin-star Chef for 12 Weeks

What’s better than a Michelin-star dinner? Try that after soaring through tree canopies in Maldives. 

In an exclusive experience that combines ziplining with fine dining, here’s what you should know about the restaurant and the chef:

 

THE RESTAURANT

Flying Sauces is the world’s first zipline fine dining destination with an open treetop kitchen 39 feet above the ground. Before dinner, guests – strapped into a safety harness – will glide high along a 656-meter zipline route to reach the elevated platform restaurant. There, they can take in gorgeous views of Maldives lush green forests and sparkling blue ocean while savoring delicious food and wines from Soneva Fushi’s cellar. 

THE CHEF

Alberto Faccani is the Italian chef and owner of Rome’s two Michelin-starred Magnolia Ristorante. According to the prestigious Identità Golose magazine, he’s one of the 100 chefs who have changed Italian cuisine in the last 10 years. Faccini is known for his creative and beautifully presented seafood, so expect dishes like pizzaiola crusted jobfish with eggplant, miso and pistachio and ravioli cacio e pepe with red prawns, lime and chive.Through April 30, he will be in residence at Flying Sauces to serve up his unforgettable dishes.
